Bert and I had an excellent day trip there between various lockdowns and travel restrictions last year, exploring the lanes and wandering along the sea front with fish and chips. The colours I've chosen really stood out for me on our visit. The bright pops of colour throughout the design represent the vibrancy and fun of Brighton.
Turquoise is for the balustrades, pier and sea. Gold for the beautiful Brighton Pavilion. Cream for the building fronts with the dark green for the building’s trims. The yellow is a nod to the fabulous Brunswick Square fronts - I couldn’t quite believe just how yellow they were! Of course the royal blue is for Brighton & Hove Albion. And lastly, strange though it may sound, I was really struck by the colours of the fanciest bins I have ever seen along the sea front. They are black, turquoise and burgundy with a gold trim. These colours seemed to echo around the city.
The colours are inspired by my visits to Brighton. The turquoise is for the balustrades, pier and sea. The cream, gold and yellow are for beautiful Pavilion, and the building fronts. The yellow, a nod to the Brunswick Square, & royal blue for Brighton & Hove Albion.
