Bristol is here & it’s a mad one! Bristol is a lovely city, a friend of mine lived there for a number of years, so I've spent many happy days wandering around, exploring the city.
The blues I've chosen are inspired by Bristol blue glass, and the city's rich maritime history. Of course Clifton Suspension Bridge is represented by the rust colour, with the green for the gorge. We couldn’t ignore the iconic houses in Totterdown with splashes of colour.
There are also pops of bright colours for the graffiti, and monochrome black and white as a nod to Banksy and also Ursa, the iconic Bristol Bear.
Stitched with 1 strand of chunky 4 ply tapestry wool in the simple half cross stitch, on a colour printed canvas, is perfect for beginners and all stitchers. It's just like like colouring in. 41 x 41cm
